The executives of designing, manufacturing and constructing of oil Industry equipments found the lack of organization to settle its own common affairs units for years. Due to vast and increasing the national craftsmen proficiencies, lack of dependence on foreign countries and the proper recommendation of presidential Technological Cooperation Office for establishing a society to promote the purposes, so a society was established by some executives who were related to this industry in 2000. The essential performance for codifying and preparing the constitution was acted by promotors. And on 27th of may 2000 in presidential cultural-sports complex the first General Assembly meeting by presence of representative of Islamic Consultative Assembly, Ministry of Oil authorities and more than eighty executives of oil industry was held. The completion of constitution was ratified in the first meeting by the general assembly and the managing board and inspectors were appointed as well. Subsequently the essential performance was made to conform the society to the legal authorities and moving towards the determined purposes in the constitution of society. The development and promotion of this society is with the Lord affection and the members cooperation. Consequently we hope to step in direction of specified purposes in constitution by cooperation and members assistance and all those interested in this part of industry.
